confessions-of-a-wedding-planner “The intricate veins of the marble floor were paralleled by the curves hanging high above me. Through one of the open arched doors, I spotted what was – I could only assume from afar – an original Dore or an extremely well done copy.

What should have attracted my eyes first were the large carved-stone wood fireplace and the antique tapestries on the wall, or the glittering, tiered chandelier lighting the space.” (54%)

Wow. These descriptions are something else. I would love to be inside this person’s home. In Paris, no less!

What’s your Friday 56? Or just a tidbit from your current read? Let me know!

  1. Hi, Kendra!

Those descriptions are SO detailed and gorgeous! I think I would pick up this book just for the purple prose aspect alone–I LOVE intricately descriptive scenery, it really helps to put me “in” the read.

Thank you so much for sharing! Here’s my Friday 56, if you’re interested in checking it out–no worries or pressure if you’re not, though! Either way, happy book-ing to you in the near future…and happy Friday! ❤
