Annie Rains hasn’t failed to capture another beautiful story in this military small town.
I really do have a thing for small towns. And don’t even get me started on military men… 😉 The characters, Allison and Troy, meshed really well together. It was sweet, it was cute, it was funny and suspenseful. I must admit, over the years – I have thought about forgoing Christmas a few times. But if Allison were here, my mind would totally be changed! Buying toys for children, auctions, Christmas cheer…
I have definitely been lacking joy in the holiday sense. This was just the type of book to get me in the mood for the holidays. I would love to be smack-dab in the middle of Seaside during Christmas. What a joyous place to be! Annie captures that within her writing and shows the remarkable aspects of wonderful moments.
