Today’s recipe is:
Garlic Ranch Marinade
Before we start, though, I must be honest. I only took a picture of what it looked like before it cooked. But we were so hungry to eat the chicken, that I totally forgot to take a picture after it was done cooking! Grah! So there won’t be much to look at this time around.
Alas, the recipe was super yummy though, and soooo easy!
Normally, I don’t do marinades. This time, I wanted something different. Everyone in my family likes chicken, but once you start making the same recipes, you need a variety!
I did what anyone else in my shoes would do. I turned to Pinterest!
3 Tbsp (or 1 Pkg) Ranch Dressing Mix. — I used Hidden Valley Ranch Mix
1 Tbsp Garlic Salt
2 Tbsp water
1/4 C olive oil — I used Canola because that was all I had
1 Tbsp lemon juice
- Mix everything into a gallon size Ziploc bag.
- Add your choice of meat, and let sit for a few hours.
- Annnd you’re done.
Bam. Super easy, I’m telling you!
Of course, it goes without saying: I would love to give the person who came up with this credit for the recipe. But my dumbass took a screenshot of the recipe, and the screenshot was from the Pinterest app. No website, no blog name, no author. Nothing. So here’s my disclosure: this recipe is not mine! 😀
Hope you guys enjoy it as much as my family did!
