NetGalley Book Tag

NetGalley

Hi everyone! Kourtni over at Kourtni Reads created this awesome tag. I read her q&a and it seemed right up my alley! So here goes!

The rules:

  • Link back to the tag’s creator (Kourtni Reads)
  • Thank and link back to the person who tagged you
  • Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
  • Tag a few people to do this too.

The Questions:

Auto-Approved: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they’re about?

Oooh. This is a good one! Sarah Dessen is my first pick. No matter what she writes, I will read it. Annnd, have you heard about her news?! She’s coming out with another book. Next summer, hurry up, please!

Request: What makes you want to request a book that you see on NetGalley?

The cover. The author. The description. My request finger goes a little too happy sometimes….

Feedback Ratio: Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?

Yes, I actually do review each book I read (especially if it’s an ARC or for review). Unless I DNF it. Then I just send a little feedback note telling the publisher it wasn’t for me at this moment. But if I ever come back to it, I’ll update my feedback.

Badges: If you could create your own badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

Being the BEST Procrastinator when it comes to reading. Haha, like no joke. It takes me a week to finish a book. I know I have so much other stuff going on, but I have found that even sometimes when I do have down time… A book just doesn’t appeal to me. Ugh!

Wish for It: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

This is a tough one. I have so much on my plate right now. I honestly have no clue. I have author requests, tours, and ARCs to get to.

2016 NetGalley Challenge: What was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed? If you’ve never received an ARC, what’s the last book you reviewed?

Well, the last one was Mistletoe Cottage by Debbie Mason. I was contacted by the publisher because I’ve read other Debbie Mason books. I got my first unsolicited pre-approved widget for NetGalley! It’s actually pretty funny because I just signed up for this tour (Tasty Book Tours) last week.

I TAG…. EVERYONE! Have at it!

Until next time,

Kendra

  1. Yesss, I’m so excited for Dessen’s new book! It’s been awhile since I’ve read anything by her, but I’ve been getting back into contemporary recently so I’m excited 🙂
I can relate 100% to procrastinating reading. It’s so frustrating! Every time I feel like reading, I have a bunch of other stuff that I need to do first. Once I finally have a decent amount of free time and could sit down and get a lot of reading done, I don’t want to.
Thanks for participating in the tag! 🙂
