I feel like this took me forever to read. I hate when I feel like I’m so busy that I don’t have time to read… Anyone else feel that way?! Well, here goes.
I cried, I laughed. This book broke my heart.
A forced adoption and one woman’s journey to find her true self.
At 38, Sabina could never keep a secret. She thought she received that trait from her parents, but she could not have been more wrong.
One night she told her parents that she and her husband were pregnant. The next day, her life shatters with three words, “You are adopted.”
Her life gets turned upside in one moment. However, there are no other details to this adoption. Yet, Sabina is determined to find out every detail of the one who, unwillingly, gave her up.
This is a story of motherhood, lies, the truth, and finding yourself after almost four decades of living a lie. It is told from three different point of views, however, it completely adds to the story. The third point of view does not come in until half way through the book. This book will tug on every heart string you have. Grab the tissue, and open the book. You will not be sorry!
