Pastry Book Tag!
It’s another awesome book tag! Thank you Erika for tagging me! 🙂 Sorry that it took me a little bit to get to it!
❤ Croissant: Name a popular book or series that everyone (including you) loves. ❤
Well… This one I must say has to be Twilight. I know. I know. I hear your groans. But you have to hear me out. I liked Twilight BEFORE it became popular. I liked it before the movies came out, before Kristen and Robert, before the parodies.
❤ Macaron: Name a book that was hard to get through but worth it at the end. ❤
Such a difficult question… Hmm… I’m thinking it has to be A Child Called It. I read it many years ago, but I cannot fathom doing that to a child. I never read any of the sequels, but this book tore my heart into a million pieces, then preceded to stomp on those pieces until there was nothing left.
❤ Vol-au-vent: Name a book that you thought would be amazing but fell flat. ❤
Melissa started out promising, but I could not get past the first 25 pages. It seemed dull and did not grab my attention. It was the first book that I DNF in a long time.
❤ Pain au chocolat: Name a book that you thought would be one thing but turned out to be something else. ❤
The ending! Ahhhh!!!!!
❤ Profiterole: Name a book or series that doesn’t get enough attention. ❤
The entire series was amazing! But it starts off with this one.
❤ Croquembouche: Name a book or series that’s extremely complex. ❤
❤ Napoleon: Name a movie or TV show based off a book that you liked better than the book itself. ❤
I never attempted the books, but because I’ve heard they changed so many things from the books, I’m not sure I ever will. Especially after the last mid-season summer finale.
❤ Empanada: Name a book that was bittersweet. ❤
❤ Kolompeh: Name a book or series that takes place somewhere other than your home country. ❤
❤ Pate a Choux: Name one food from a book or series that you would like to try. ❤
Just don’t give me anything gross flavored, like boogers or poop or vomit. Eww.
I tag anyone who would like to complete this!
