Mmmm! This was so yummy! You know that rule… The one where they tell you to let the bread/cake/cookies,etc. to cool completely before removing from pan or wire rack? Well… I didn’t. I’m a rebel.
Melted butter on warm banana bread is one of the greatest things out there.

The original recipe called for walnuts, but since I’m a rebel, I clearly don’t follow ingredients. 😉 Come to find out, my in-laws don’t really like walnuts either, so it all worked out. But if you want walnuts, you can find The Country Cook’s recipe called Banana Nut Bread.
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
2 3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 325*F.
2. Mash bananas.
3. Mix sugar, vanilla, eggs, bananas, and melted butter into bowl.
4. Add in all dry ingredients.
5. Spray a loaf pan with non-stick spray.
6. Cook in oven at 325* for approximately 60 minutes. (Mine was 65 minutes) You’ll know it’s done with you insert a toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean.
Enjoy with butter slightly melted into the bread! So delicious!
