Hey everyone! I found this while going through the WP Reader. That is pretty much where I find all things awesome. 🙂 Here is another bookish survey. It looked intriguing and I wondered what my answers would be. Well, here they are:
A: Author You’ve Read the Most Books From
Hands down, Sarah Dessen. I have read all of her books except for one. I cannot find it to save my life. I prefer to have all paper copies of her books, so I never buy the Kindle copies. And of course, I am a little old fashioned, so shopping for it on Amazon just takes away the fun of searching for this book. I will continue to look until I give in.
B: Best sequel ever
Hmm.. This one is a difficult one. Sequel as in 2 books? I would have to say Sweet Possession by J. Daniels. Check it out on Goodreads, but be sure to read the first one first. However, if you’re asking series… I cannot answer. 🙂
C: Currently reading
Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen. I have waited and waited for this book. So far, I am a little disappointed that I am not reading it as fast as I have read her other ones. Who looks what the outcome will book. Be sure to keep an eye out for my review soon.
D: Drink of choice while reading
Mountain Dew. Or water. But rather the first one. I have never been too much of a coffee person.
E: E-reader or physical book
Ahh. This one I am thinking of turning into a blog post because then maybe, just maybe, I will finally form an opinion.
F: Fictional character you probably would’ve dated in high school
This one, I have no idea. Most of the men I read about, are older than high school. Unless it’s Sarah Dessen. Then definitely would have dated Dexter. But then again, he was a college kid. So… Yeah.
G: Glad you gave this book a chance
If I Break by Portia Moore. It was her debut book and I fell in love. Of course she ended on a cliffhanger, so I was desperate and had to buy the second one. Then the third one. Then the fourth one. I am glad I gave her a try.
H: A hidden gem book
Man, you’re making me think here. Ten Year Crush by Toshia Slade. She is an Indie author who self promotes on FB. I found her through a group I’m a part of. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have found her.
I: Important moment in your reading life
The moment when I realized I could read anything my heart desired.
J: Just finished
Love Crushed by Toshia Slade
K: Kinds of books you won’t read
Mostly sci-fi, historical anything, and a major part of fantasy. I loved the idea of vampires until Stephenie Meyer ruined it for me.
L: Longest book you’ve ever read
I would have to say Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler. It is 3 books in 1, and over 700 pages. Otherwise, it would have to Fallout by Ellen Hopkins, with 665 pages. She writes pretty long books as well.
M: Major book hangover because of
Tampa by Alisa Nutting. This book left me pissed off for DAYS.
N: Number of bookcases you own
Currently, only one. However, there is talk about turning the spare walk-in closet into a mini library for me…
O: One book you’ve read multiple times
Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler.
P: Preferred place to read
On the couch or laying in bed,.
Q: Quote that inspires you or gives you all the feels
R: Reading regret
Not fully reading and recognizing what Ayn Rand had to offer when I read Anthem in high school. It’s one of those books I have been meaning to read for years, and just have not gotten around to it.
S: Series that you’ve started and needed to finish
Oooh. There are wayyy to many to name. Woman’s Murder Club by James Patterson. Edilean by Jude Deveraux. Funny thing is, I own all the books in the series too. Well, except for the 14th book in James Patterson’s series.
T: Three of your all time favorite books
Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler, This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen, Secrets by Jude Deveraux.
U: Unapologetic fan girl for
Anything romance. A good portion of all the books I own, ebook and print, are romance.
V: Very excited for this release
Well, it was Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen. Now it is, TRAFFIC and LOVE LIES BENEATH by Ellen Hopkins.
W: Worst bookish habit
Sometimes, I take forever to read books! As much as I love them, I always have something else going on. I need to make it my goal to read at least a little bit before I go to bed each night.
X: X marks the spot pick the 27 book on your shelf
I do not have a bookshelf set up yet, since I did just move. So I will have to go with my Kindle. That book is Cover to Covers by Alexandrea Weis.
Y: Your latest book purchase
Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen
Z: ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late)
Ooh. This one is a difficult one. I’m gunna have to pass because I can’t think of one and I actually haven’t read a book that kept me up in a while. The last full book I read, I started it in the morning and finished before bedtime.
